Oskar Holzmann – Photographer & Videographer based in Berlin

I help mid-sized companies bring their brand to life visually: with corporate films that convince, employee portraits with character, and social media content that delivers measurable results.

My Path Here

I first picked up a camera at age 12. What started as a hobby gradually became my profession.

After completing my dual degree in Marketing Communications in 2018, I worked at several advertising agencies. There, I kept asking myself the same question: Why spend weeks developing concepts only to hand them off to someone else for execution? Why not deliver both idea and implementation from a single source?

That question led me to transition fully into photo and video production.

International Experience

In 2018, I worked as a surf photographer on the French Atlantic coast – underwater housing, fins, and wetsuit, right in the waves. From there, I moved to Sydney, where I spent several months working alongside Australian filmmaker Kale Brock. As a cameraman aboard a superyacht, my journey continued through Bali, Singapore, and Thailand.

This time sharpened my eye for visual storytelling – and reinforced my belief that strong imagery tells stories that stick.

What I Do Today

Since 2018, I’ve worked as a freelance photographer and videographer in Berlin. My clients are primarily mid-sized companies that need professional visual content:

• Corporate films with professional interview setups
• Employee portraits and team shoots
• Mood imagery for websites and communications
• Social media content with measurable results
• Event documentation – from summer parties to holiday celebrations
• Drone footage for fresh perspectives

I also bring solid experience in social media marketing. Among other projects, I spent three years as Marketing Manager for MA’LOA Poké Bowl, overseeing their Instagram and Facebook channels.
